Public Health 4+1

Why study public health at Geneseo?

This program allows Geneseo undergraduates to complete both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in an accelerated format. The Master of Public Health program trains a diverse range of public health and health professionals in the skills needed to develop and lead evidence‑driven public health solutions that improve population health. The MPH program includes didactic coursework, a practice-based experience, and a capstone experience.

Students save both time and tuition while preparing for professional careers across public health practice and research, encompassing medical and healthcare systems, private industry, government agencies, and non-profit agencies. Graduates are also well-positioned for future training in the health professions or a range of public health-related doctoral programs. Program admission requires successful completion at Geneseo of two or more health-related courses and at least one statistics or analysis course, plus a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher.
