How to Apply to Geneseo as a Veteran or Dependent

  1. Submit your application to ºÚÁÏÍø. You can apply for an from SUNY. Upon acceptance to Geneseo, please pay your tuition deposit of $300 ($150 for enrollment and $150 for housing- if you will be living on campus).
  2. Apply for your . In a few weeks, you will receive a Certificate of Eligibility from the VA stating the percentage of benefits to which you are entitled. If you are a transfer student, you must submit a Request for Change of Program or Place of Training (22-1995) form.
  3. Apply for financial aid by completing a to determine if you are eligible for other types of financial aid. Geneseo’s Office of Financial Aid will send you an award notice letter a few weeks after submitting your FAFSA.
  4. Submit your , and Certificate of Eligibility to the ºÚÁÏÍø Veterans Services Office, Erwin 103. Transfer students must also submit their Request for Change of Program or Place of Training (22-1995) form.
