Nurture and support your mental health with a FREE weekly yoga class on campus!
Mindful Yoga for Mental Health is sponsored by Student Health and Counseling. The classes are led by the Associate Director of Counseling Services, Beth Cholette, PhD, E-RYT. As both a licensed clinical psychologist and a certified yoga teacher, Dr. Beth is a trauma-informed provider who specializes in working with college students.
This is a slower yoga class intended to help participants decrease stress and enhance overall well-being. We encourage faculty and staff to attend as a means to encourage students, to cultivate community, to support a sense of belonging, and to promote healthy wellbeing. Everyone is welcome (students, faculty, staff), and no prior yoga experience is necessary – Dr. Beth is committed to offering accessible movement options for different bodies and abilities.
CLASS TIME: Fridays, 12:30-1:30 pm
CLASS LOCATION: Schrader Dance Studio (above UPD)
OTHER INFO: Bring a mat if you have one! Mat and other props are available on loan.
First class for Fall 2026 will be Friday September 11. Fall classes will run through Friday, November 20, 2026.
