I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about me! I am a licensed clinical psychologist, and I have been at Geneseo for over 25 years. I am also an experienced registered yoga teacher (E-RYT), an added area of expertise that informs my mental health practice. As both a therapist and a yoga teacher, I strongly believe that each individual is the expert in their own life. My therapeutic approach is grounded in mindful cognitive-behavioral interventions, and I take a holistic, integrated view of mind and body. I utilize a practical, skills-based, compassionate, trauma-sensitive focus that is frequently light-hearted, incorporating off-the-cuff analogies and goofy humor.

In addition to providing mental health therapy, I teach weekly yoga classes on campus. My Mindful Yoga for Mental Health class is free, drop-in, open to all members of the campus community (students, faculty, staff). All bodies and abilities are welcome to this class. Visit my Geneseo pages for more information on weekly yoga, my free YouTube videos, plus mindfulness playlists and other helpful resources.

Outside of Geneseo, I am an avid reader, a fitness enthusiast, a casual bicyclist, a from-scratch cook/baker, and a summer season/warmer weather lover.

Geneseo certifications: Safe Zone, ACCC
Yoga certifications: Mindful Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher Training, Yoga for All, Yoga for Healthy Aging, Yin Yoga Anatomy, Restorative Yoga
