International Affairs 4+1
Why study international affairs at Geneseo?
This program allows Geneseo undergraduates to complete both a bachelor鈥檚 and a master鈥檚 degree in an accelerated format. Students benefit from Geneseo鈥檚 strong liberal arts foundation and UAlbany鈥檚 nationally recognized Rockefeller College Master of International Affairs program, which combines rigorous academic training with hands-on professional preparation.
Students save both time and tuition while gaining a broad educational foundation in international relations theory, policy analysis, economics, management, and quantitative methods as well as oral and written communication skills that will prepare them for careers in business, government, or the nonprofit sector. By beginning MIA coursework during their senior year, students move directly into graduate-level study while still benefiting from Geneseo鈥檚 close faculty mentorship and small-class environment.
