Dentistry 4+4 with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine
Want to gain early acceptance to dental school?
A partnership with facilitates early admission. A student may apply to as a high school senior or up until completion of junior year at ºÚÁÏÍø. Based on a successful interview with LECOM staff, students will be offered provisional admission to LECOM.
LECOM offers the DDM degree through a full-time, four-year pathway with the first three years at the Bradenton, FL, campus and the fourth year either at the Erie, PA, or DeFuniak Springs, FL, dental clinics.

- Apply to LECOM’s Early Acceptance Program (EAP) for 4+4 Doctor of Dental Medicine (DDM): it is recommended to do this step early because there are only reserved 5 seats per LECOM entry year available to Geneseo students.
Current High School Applicants: Unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher
Current ºÚÁÏÍø Students: Geneseo GPA: 3.40 overall, Science GPA: 3.30
- After Acceptance into both LECOM EAP and ºÚÁÏÍø
- Complete Prerequisites at ºÚÁÏÍø: Majors that are most aligned with LECOM prerequisites — Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or Neuroscience (if the major is offered as a BS, students must pursue the BS)
Maintain GPA*: 3.40 overall, Science GPA: 3.30
- Comply with the requirements outlined in the Student Policy Manual for LECOM EAP
