- Factors that contribute to the risk for behavioral and emotional disturbance, as well as protection from it
- How people cope with and adapt to the challenges they face
Student Involvement

Research assistants are responsible for the following tasks:
- Generating ideas for new research
- Developing research protocols for new studies
- Completing training on a diverse set of lab procedures
- Collecting data from research participants
- Analyzing data and preparing conference presentations and journal manuscripts
- Recruiting and training new members of the lab team
Recruitment Opportunities
- Dr. Lynch is currently accepting 2 new research assistants for Spring 2025 and Fall 2025.
Student Skills and Qualifications
- Students must specifically be interested in research content.
- Completion of PSYC 251 preferred.
