At Geneseo, New Student Orientation is a key part of your onboarding process. This process began when you accepted your offer and continues until the end of your first semester.
What is New Student Orientation?
New Student Orientation at Geneseo helps first-year and transfer students transition into their academic and life journeys. It offers opportunities to:
- Acclimate to campus
- Make connections
- Foster a sense of pride in Geneseo
- Establish a foundation for academic success
The goal of orientation, including Weeks of Welcome, is to ensure a happy and productive college experience.
