In addition to the obvious benefit of earning money while you attend school, working is an important way to build experience and transferable skills for future opportunities that you hope to pursue.
- Use to find work study and temp service job opportunities on campus as well as part time jobs in the local community
- Log into → Click Jobs (left menu)
- If you’re looking for on campus jobs: Select the Filters button → In the Job Type section, select On Campus Student Employment
- If you’re looking for opportunities off campus: Select the Location button → Enter Geneseo, NY → Select a zip code radius to narrow to the local community
First-Year Milestones Submission Instructions
- Complete the .
- Indicate your employer, your job title, and your supervisor.
- Upload a picture of you on the job or a screenshot of the job offer and you accepting the position.
- Respond to the following reflection question. Please keep your response to about one paragraph, 100-200 words.
What is one skill or experience you’ve gained through your job. How do you think it will help you succeed in future internships, jobs, or other professional opportunities? - Your submission will be reviewed, and you will receive a notification once the milestone has been approved.
