First-Year Career Milestones – CliftonStrengths
For a first-year college student, the transition to college is about discovering who you are, how you learn, and how you can succeed academically, personally, and professionally.
What is the CliftonStrengths Assessment?
The CliftonStrengths assessment is an online assessment that identifies a person’s natural patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. Rather than focusing on weaknesses, the assessment identifies an individual’s greatest talents. Students receive a personalized report highlighting their top strengths and descriptions of how those strengths show up in their daily lives.
Research has shown that students who understand and intentionally use their strengths are often more engaged in their learning, more confident, and better prepared to navigate transitions throughout college.
