Scholarship Opportunities
Thanks to the generous support of our alumni, employees, and friends, the School of Business offers a wide range of scholarships for incoming and continuing students. Scholarship applications are reviewed by the college or school committees each spring.
Undergraduate Scholarships
For continuing students, please apply by 3/1/2026 via:
- Ambassador Apartments Endowed Scholarship in Accounting ($500-$1,000)
- This scholarship is awarded to an outstanding accounting student who demonstrates academic merit and public service and who is a US citizen.
- Andy J. Davis’s 94 Scholarship ($1,000)
- This scholarship is awarded to an incoming or continuing business student (preferably majoring in Finance or Accounting) who is in good academic standing and has demonstrated financial need.
- AP Professionals Accounting Annual Scholarship ($500)
- This scholarship is awarded to full-time junior accounting students who have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and demonstrate potential for leadership and success in the accounting profession through participation in student clubs, volunteer activities, intercollegiate or intramural athletics, or internships.
- Business Advisory Council Scholarship ($500-$1,000)
- This scholarship is awarded to a currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate business student who maintains outstanding academic standing and demonstrates leadership and community impact.
- Charles VanArsdale Scholarship ($1,000)
- This scholarship is awarded to an incoming first-year business student who is a high school graduating senior who lives in Livingston, Wyoming, or Genesee County and who demonstrates academic excellence.
- Christopher ’94 and Elizabeth ’95 Kuehn Scholarship for Sustainability ($2,000)
- The scholarship is awarded to a currently enrolled business student who is in good academic standing, has demonstrated a strong interest in sustainability studies, and has been enrolled in at least one sustainability course during the academic year.
- Constellation Brands School of Business Endowed Scholarship ($2,500)
- This scholarship is awarded to an incoming or currently enrolled business student who is in good academic standing, a first-generation college student, and who represents an underserved population.
- Dean’s Scholarship in the School of Business ($500- $1,000)
- This scholarship is awarded to a School of Business senior student who is going to attend the school’s graduate program.
- Dr. Gregor Lazarcik Memorial Endowed Scholarship ($2,500)
- This scholarship is awarded to a currently enrolled School of Business student who demonstrates academic excellence.
- Edward Pettinella 1973 Leadership Endowed Scholarship ($500-$1,000)
- This scholarship is awarded to a currently enrolled School of Business student who is outstanding and demonstrate financial needs.
- Eleanor Chamberlin Memorial Endowed Scholarship ($500-$1,000)
- This scholarship is awarded to a senior Business Administration student who has a solid academic record (GPA of 3.0 or above) and who demonstrates leadership and integrity.
- Federation of Home Bureaus Scholarship ($500)
- This scholarship is awarded to a deserving student in the field of Business Administration or Education, who has a minimum GPA of 2.85 or above, and who lives in one of the organized Home Bureau Counties.
- Financial Accounting Peer Tutor Scholarship ($1,500)
- This scholarship is awarded to a full-time Junior Accounting student who has earned a minimum Grade of B in Acct 301 and Acct 302, and who is returning to Geneseo in the subsequent academic year. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate leadership potential and a strong ability to succeed in the accounting profession. The recipient is expected to work an average of 2 hours per week as a peer tutor.
- Flanders Group Insurance Career Scholarship ($1,200)
- This scholarship is awarded to a School of Business Junior student who has a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or better, and who is willing to complete a 3-credit internship at an insurance company, and demonstrates interest in pursuing a career in insurance.
- FTT Manufacturing Scholarship ($500)
- This scholarship is awarded to a School of Business student who is the most improved student from freshman to junior years, but in more than grade-point average, and who has demonstrated humanistic values through volunteer service, including church, hospital or a community service organization, and possess qualities that suggest potential for success in business, including in the entrepreneurial sense of creating a business.
- John Wiley Jones Memorial Annual Scholarship ($1,000)
- This scholarship is awarded to an outstanding student in School of Business, with preference given to a student from Livingston County.
- Humphrey Family Scholarship ($1,000)
- This scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior School of Business student from Livingston or Wyoming counties, who has a GPA of 3.0 or better, and demonstrates a potential for leadership and success in business through participation in student clubs, volunteer activities, intercollegiate or intramural athletics, or internships.
- Michelle (Schuler) Bewley 1998 Memorial Scholarship ($500-$1,000)
- This scholarship is awarded to an incoming School of Business student who demonstrates good character and is involved in community service projects.
- Paul 1991 and Lisa Lambert Scholarship ($2,500)
- This scholarship is awarded to an incoming School of Business student who is outstanding and demonstrates financial needs.
- Richard Bosco ’89 Memorial Scholarship ($500-$1,000)
- This scholarship is awarded to an incoming School of Business student who has potential for leadership and success demonstrated through involvement in extracurricular activities, participation in athletics, work-experience and/or community service.
- Robert E. Walley ’83 Career Exploration Award (Varies)
- This Award is given to a currently enrolled School of Business student who is in good academic standing and has applied to pursue a curricular or co-curricular career exploration experience.
- Ryan Kennedy 2005 Memorial Annual Scholarship ($1,000)
- This scholarship is awarded to a sophomore, junior, or senior student in the School of Business, who has earned a minimum GPA of 3.0, who is involved in extra-curricular activities, and whose life has been touched by cancer.
- School of Business New Horizon Scholarship by Daniel ’86 and Nancy ’86 Loughran ($1,000)
- This scholarship is awarded to an incoming or currently enrolled School of Business student, who demonstrates financial need and is in good academic standing.
- School of Business Scholarship by Keven ’75 and Nancy ’76 Gavagan ($500-$1,000)
- This scholarship is awarded to an incoming School of Business student, who demonstrates financial need and is in good academic standing.
- Tompkins Financial Scholarship Endowment ($500-$1,000)
- The scholarship is awarded to a Business major student from Livingston, Wyoming, or Genesee County, who demonstrates financial need.
