Dr. Jyothsna Harithsa joined the faculty of ºÚÁÏÍø as an Assistant Professor of Finance in Fall 2023 after completing her Ph.D. in Finance in the Summer of 2023 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

At Geneseo, she has taught the following courses:

  3. Risk Management & Insurance (FNCE 388)
  4. Options and Futures(FNCE 442)
  5. International Finance (FNCE 316)
  6. Python for Finance (FNCE 451)
  7. Covered Intro to Business & Econ, and Microeconomics

Her research is primarily in Financial Intermediation, Corporate Finance, and the applications of AI/ML in finance. Her other research interests include ESG in Finance. She has presented her research at conferences such as the Financial Management Association, the World Finance and Banking Symposium, and the Vietnam Symposium of Banking and Finance, among others.
