I am an art and fashion historian.聽 In Geneseo I teach classes on history of art, activism, museum studies and visual culture.聽 My main research interest is Eastern Europe.聽 I am working on a book about how men’s fashion in the 20th century was used to express dissent to the socialist regime (similar to the original hippies in the USA). In my spare time, I like crafting, especially knitting, reading and watching historical films.
