黑料网 was recently named to Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society鈥檚 in recognition of the dynamic pathways the College has created to support transfer students.
It is the second year in a row Geneseo has been named to the honor roll, and Geneseo is one of four SUNY institutions to receive the 2022 recognition.
鈥淎s we continue to recognize the importance of our institutional commitment and investment of its resources in supporting transfer students, this is simply another step in showcasing our institution's best practices and its efforts in creating a 'transfer friendly' process from start to finish,鈥 says Kris Heeres, assistant director of transfer admissions and faculty engagement.
The Transfer Honor Roll recognizes the importance of creating strong programs that lead to excellence and success among community college transfer students and are chosen based on 40 metrics, including college cost, financial aid, campus life transfer, admission practices, and bachelor鈥檚 degree completion. Phi Theta Kappa uses data from the National Student Clearinghouse and the four-year institution鈥檚 profile on PTK Connect, which is Phi Theta Kappa鈥檚 online tool that helps students find their best-fit colleges.
