Office of the Dean of Students

The Office of the Dean of Students is here to support students throughout their time at Geneseo. We help students address challenges, connect with campus resources, understand College policies, and find solutions to concerns that may affect their academic or personal success.

Our goal is to help students thrive in a safe, supportive, and inclusive campus community.

The Campus Assessment, Response, and Evaluation (CARE) Network provides support and early intervention for students who may be experiencing difficulties. The CARE team reviews reports of concerning or disruptive behavior and works with campus partners to connect students with appropriate resources and support.

We help students understand their rights and responsibilities as members of the Geneseo community. We oversee the student conduct process, and promote community standards that support a respectful and safe learning environment.

Living off campus can bring unique questions and challenges. We connect students with information and resources related to off-campus living, including community expectations, safety, and support services.

We support students facing personal, academic, or unexpected challenges. Whether you need help navigating a difficult situation or finding the right resource, our office is here to help.
